Sat walleye fishing good, hard to get anyone to perch fish,when
walleyes are biting, however most perchers did well out by B-C
can areas. By daylite sunday morning breezy conditions set in and hard for big boats to catch fish, most little boats did not
even try. Reports from charters, said that perch were caught
around B-C cans. We had nice shinners all weekend which was good. Hopefully wind dies down and allows us to comfortably fish this week. j-7 j-9 have been good bait for walleye, pulled by dipsey, or jet diver. Spoons, Pink Panties, Monkey Puke,
Crawler Harnesses (mostly trollin) Clown, Bumble Bee, Captain

limits of perch being caught just east of B-C can areas even when that gets tough, around Niagara producing some nice perch.
So far we have had a good supply of nice shinners, but that could change anytime (full Moon this weekend) Also they first of all were calling for rain this weekend , now its holding off
till Monday. Walleyes, those rascals, trollin bite has been tough because of all the weed beds, best walleye bite is from
Rattlesnake, West Reef, to Northwest Reef turn around and do it
same way, Reef Runners, has been producing some good size fish.
Purple barely Naked. Bleeding Bare Naked. No doubt its getting
tough, Killer Bees, J-7 j-9 still doing good job for guys at Fenwick, No doubt it is getting tough fishing with worms, and

the're back and biting at least for now

Now that I have your attention, walleyes were biting today 13 feet of water off Crane Creek toward the intake, that bite had
kinda dried up now rekindled. Trolling, Deep Little rippers,
Hot and Tots, J-7's hopefully its a thing that will at least last the weekend, Fish are nice size too all above 22 inches.
Hopefully its just not a fluke thing, I will try to keep you in
touch. Perchin, Minnows, full moon, so far so good, minnows got
a little smaller but still ok. JUST ARRIVED!!! Reef Runner 900
series, those big salmon, muskie baits been wating all year for
them We Got 6 colors, I'm takin them salmon fishing Sunday (will
fish Monday,) I only got 6 of 6 different colors, and was glad to get them. Check them out, if we have any left.? Captain Dave

Weekend walleye,Perch fishing report

Today we opened the bait store at 5:00 a.m, Perch fishermen were
hot after lake shinners, we had plently until all bait stores
west of us ran out, then we had to try to help out. We were only
without minnows for 3 hours or so, then we got some really nice
golden shinners from a family friend, so back in business. Tommorrow we will have minnows but on a limited basis. Perch bite was really good just North and 1 mile east of C-can. Nice
size. Walleye down along crane creek to the intake was good
for a while this a.m., then it was just pickin. Some did good
today casting on the reefs, Nice calm day. Others picked up
their walleye between Niagara-Rattlesnake trollin north toward
F-Can. Everyone seem to have their favorites, Hot & Tots, Rattlin Tots (now Dave's Kabooms) Killer Bees, Deep little rippers (Reef Runners) trollin worm harnesses. Some have started
to move their boats east, need more fast and furious action. Thanks to all that came in, maybee we smiled, maybe we were grouchy, or just not ourselves, bear with us till the minnow problem gets better, (No full MOON) Captain Dave from The Happy Hooker. |

Salmon fishing in N.Y. was great today we had 9 nice large salmon, oops/ I'm suppose to be telling you about walleye & perch fishing on Lake Erie, but someone has to catch these salmon. Walleye fishing is missing one thing, not many were
fishing today, those that did go, did well on larger size Hot
& Tots, 400 series Reef Runners, and Reef Runner deep little rippers, Pink Lemonade, clown, trollin early down around the
intake, fish at the kidney (Northwest reef) picked up too, but
it was little rough, so mainly only bigger boats got to fish.
Finally we got Lake Erie SHINNERS in today, We were out of minnows, Sat for 2-3 hrs, and Sunday after 11:00 we were out, sure good to see a lot of new faces in the store. Perchin was
good just about 1 mile east of C-Can this past weekend, Keepin
an eye on Hurricane out of Flordia, probably won't affect our
weather untl late Sunday. Had reports of Nice Bass caught this
weekend, RED HOt Cindy caught a 4# out by C=Can. Be sure to stop
